A trip to Thailand will
be her first outside of the country in more than
two decades. Burmese
pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi is set
to make her first visit to a
foreign country in more than 20 years when
she travels to Thailand next week to meet with the
country’s
prime minister and attend a regional conference, according
to
officials from her political party.
